Vinification: Carbonic pre-maceration at 50-54°F for 3 days. Fermented with selected yeasts in stainless steel vats with maceration on skins for approximately 25 days.
Maturation: Maturation in steel vats for 2 months. Then remains for 6-8 months in barriques and then 30 days in steel tanks before being bottled.
Color: Bright red with violet reflections
Bouquet: Deep and complex with notes of red ripe fruit and spice
Palate: Full, soft, and smooth. Round and balanced with a persistent finish
Serving suggestions: Excellent with game and red meat dishes
Cantina Viticoltori Senesi Aretini was founded in 1971 and now owns over 400 hectares of vineyards which are located between the provinces of Siena and Arezzo in Tuscany. These provinces are characterized by an area rich in minerals and fossil sediments. The rolling Tuscan
hills make the area especially suited for grape growing, providing ideal climate conditions and an excellent exposure to sunlight. Cantina Viticoltori Senesi Aretini is devoted to its vineyards and to the grapes, providing them with all the attention necessary in producing quality wines at affordable prices. The vinification and aging process have been completely upgraded through the purchase of technologically advanced equipment in order to optimize and enhance the quality grapes. Thanks to the collaboration of its owners, the winery integrates innovation with tradition, knowing full well that the earth is an irreplaceable resource, so it must be treated with the greatest of care and respect.
